16-year-old Shamaury O. Young Killed In An Attempted Armed Robbery During Dice Game

Young was among three other males shot at a basement dice game on Sunday.

Milwaukee, WI - On Sunday, Shamaury O. Young, 16, was reported killed while attempting to rob a group of dice players inside a basement at the 7800 block of W. Sheridan Ave., according to Milwaukee police. Young was being monitored by an electronic ankle bracelet for two previous suspected juvenile armed robbery cases, in 2014 and 2015.
Young and several other teens went to a residence and attempted to rob some dice players when gunfire erupted injuring three males, ages 16, 17, 19, and fatally wounding Young. Young died at the scene and the three others injured are expected to survive, according to police.
The investigation is ongoing and police are looking for suspects involved in Young's death.
Young used to attend Lynde & Harry Bradley Technical and Trade School.
