More Than 100 Shots Fired At Multiple Milwaukee Neighborhoods In Early New Year's Day 2016

Police, citizens, Mayoral candidate and Alderman Bob Donovan reported more than 100 gunshots were heard on early New Year's Day 2016.

Milwaukee, WI - More than 100 gun shots were reported by citizens and Mayoral and Alderman Bob Donovan just after the New Year arrived in the Milwaukee area. The Milwaukee police dispatch call blogger posted gunshot spotter reports from various Milwaukee police district stations and screen shots of the police reports were posted by Renee E. Judkins Lee in Alderman Donovan's Mayoral Facebook account. 
Alderman Donovan also posted a video where gunshots could be heard in a neighborhood in Milwaukee. Gunshots fired in the air are prohibited in the City of Milwaukee and bullets can kill or injure people when then come down at high velocity due to gravity in a populated areas. 
In most of the gunshot spotter reports, the shooter could not be located, according to the Milwaukee Police Department dispatch call blogger.
To some citizens, it sounded like Milwaukee was under siege by ISIS terrorists, but no reports of an ISIS armed assault was reported or confirmed by police.
