Chicago Drive-by Leaves Two Dead And Three Injured Including An 11-month-old Boy

Chicago police are investigating a multiple shooting that left two women (mother and daughter) dead and three injured in the Back of the Yards neighborhood.

Chicago, IL - On Monday, two women, a mother and daughter were killed and three others were injured including an 11-month-old boy, according to Chicago police. Police received a call around 7:10 p.m. of multiple shots (at least 7 shots) fired and people had been injured. One woman died at the scene and the second died at a local hospital. One of the victims was identified as Patricia Chew, 24, the mother of the injured child and daughter of the other deceased woman, Lolita Wells, 46. According to relatives, Chew was two months pregnant. The 11-year-old boy was identified as Princeton Chew who is expected to survive. Two 25-year-old men were also reported shot with non-life-threatening injuries.
The family was enjoying a night out and had just arrived home when a vehicle drove-by and fired multiple times in the 5300 block of S. Aberdeen St. in the Back of the Yards neighborhood striking the five victims. 
In an unrelated shooting, police are also investigating another shooting on early Tuesday at Fuller Park in the 700 block of W. 42 Street just after 12:10 a.m., at least four people suffered gun shot wounds, according to Chicago police.
