Doddy Taken Into Custody In Wisconsin After Inter-state Police Pursuit

Murder suspect crashed into tree while being pursuit by police.

Beloit, Wisconsin - On Friday, Terence P. Doddy, 36, of Illinois was taken into custody just before noon after he crashed into a tree near the Town of Beloit on Highway 81. Doddy who was wanted for the homicides of both Todd Hansmeier and Tonya Bargman in Illinois and a domestic battery warrant. A Rockton police officer spotted Doddy in Illinois, but Doddy managed to flee. A short time later, an Illinois state trooper attempted to stop him in South Beloit, Illinois, but Doddy wouldn't stop. He fled into Wisconsin. 
While crossing the Illinois and Wisconsin state line, several other police departments from Winnebago, Rockford, Rock Island and Beloit in Wisconsin joined the pursuit until Doddy lost control and then crashed.
He was taken to a Rock County hospital for treatment and will be held at the Rock County jail awaiting extradition to Illinois.
