ICE Operation In Seven Wisconsin Cities Nets 31 Criminal Illegal Aliens

A three-day weekend ICE operation arrested 31 criminal illegal aliens in Green Bay, Greenleaf, Manitowoc, Seymour, Grand Chute, Appleton, and Menasha.

Green Bay, WI - Last weekend, the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and the Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) on March 14 launched a northwest Wisconsin operation in the cities of Green Bay, Greenleaf, Manitowoc, Seymour, Grand Chute, Appleton, and Menasha that resulted with 31 criminal illegal alien arrests. The suspects were arrested for prior convictions, which included theft, domestic abuse, battery, burglary, child enticement, drugs, identity theft, hit-and-run involving injury, 4th degree sexual assault, and illegal re-entry after deportation. The group also included two immigration fugitives who had outstanding orders of deportation and eight previously deported aliens.
The 30 men and 1 woman arrested includes the following nationalities, Mexico (27), Honduras (2), El Salvador (1), and Russia (1).
Those arrested included, a twice deported 31-year-old Mexican national with convictions for drug possession, reckless driving, identity theft and illegal re-entry after deportation. A 19-year-old Russian national with four theft convictions. A previously deported 31-year-old Mexican national with a conviction for marijuana possession with outstanding warrants for cocaine possession with intent to sell and driving with a revoked license.
In fiscal year 2013, ICE conducted 368,644 removals nationwide. Eighty-two percent of individuals removed from the interior of the United States had previously been convicted of a criminal offense. It also included 151,834 illegal aliens who were deported with no prior criminal records.
Since 2009 to March 2014, more than 2,000,816 of illegal aliens have been removed by the Obama administration. From July 2009 to September 2012, more than 205,000 parents of children born in the U.S. were deported.  Everyday, an estimated 1,009 families suffer a separation from someone being deported, according to 2Million2Many.
ERO Chicago received significant assistance in the operation from the following agencies: Wisconsin Department of Justice's Division of Criminal Investigation (DCI), Brown County (Wis.) Sheriff's Department, Green Bay (Wis.) Police Department Gang Task Force, and Ashwaubenon (Wis.) Police Department.
