La Rana, Zeta Leader Involved In Casino Royale Massacre Arrested By Mexican Military

12th Zeta suspect arrested in connection with 52 homicides at the Casino Royale massacre.

Saltillo, Coahuila, Mexico - The Mexican Secretary of Defense (Sedena) reported the arrest of Carlos Oliva Castillo, 37, aka, "La Rana," one of the Zeta leaders that was implicated in the August 25, Casino Royale massacre in Nuevo León. At least 52 people were confirmed killed. Castillo was taken into custody in Saltillo without any incident.
He is the 12th suspect of 18 Zetas sought that has been detained in connection with the Casino Royale massacre.
Castillo managed Zeta operations in Nuevo León, Tamaulipas and Coahuila, according to the Ricardo Trevilla Trejo, Spokesperson for Sedena.
Along with Castillo, his presumed sentimental companion Juan Carlos, aka, "El Juanillo" or "Irasema" was also arrested.
The military confiscated 27 tons of marijuana, 1,000 weapons, 830 vehicles and  $7.5 million pesos ($577,000 U.S.).
